Signed with an Attorney

I know I haven't posted anything in a minute, mainly because I had nothing to report.
I do today. Just this morning, I signed on with Jacobson & Colfin (they manage Mick Taylor of the Rolling Stones, represent the Rock Steady Crew, and formerly Toni Braxton). I will be working with them to shop my material to various labels and publishing companies.
While this certainly does not mean I am on the path to fame and fortune, I am atleast on the right path. Having someone who is in the industry and is able to shop your material gets you out of the "unsolicited" realm of sending your material to labels who have no intention of paying it any mind.
You can't get too excited over these things, but I'm very happy that I have started to build a team of people around me who have the same goals that I do.

So as you may or may not know, I had a couple of shows over the last 2 weeks. The first show at Touch was absolutely insane. I would say there was probably upwards of a thousand people there. Knocked out 4 songs, chatted with Irv Gotti for a hot second, and kept it moving. I gotta say, there really is nothing like getting up on stage and pouring out your heart and soul.
The second show at Kenny's Castaways was more low key, with a much smaller crowd, but still was a great opportunity for me to do my thing and get feedback from people who are actually in the industry. Having the chance to perform for different types of crowds is truly a blessing because it allows me to develop my stage show and performance.
Again, I just want to say thank you to all those who helped book me for these two gigs. It was a pleasure to grace the mic at both venues, and I would be happy to do it all over again.

New Shows

Head over to the SHOWS link and check out the upcoming performance dates. Saturday the 16th of August I will be doing an exclusive set over at Touch, a monster 3-level club in the middle of Times Square. Eight days later, Monday the 25th, I will be performing at an event sponsored by LAMN (Los Angeles Music Network) which is a great opportunity for me. A bunch of industry heads are supposed to be there, and it is most definitely time for me to make that next step. So if you are reading this, I better see you at one of these two shows or I will hunt you down and kill you.
